What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child. ~George Bernard Shaw

"Let's go for a walk Mama!"

These are the words uttered by Noah often. Yesterday was a glorious day for it so off we went.
We took our wagon with us. Sometimes we pull it behind us and walk...

Sometimes we ride....

Ok often we ride. Mostly we ride.

We enjoyed the amazing beauty that surrounds us on this little street we call home.

We discovered all the fantastic creatures we share it with.

And then, when we had enough, we headed home. There are often times I have a thousand things to do and wish I could just stay home and get them all done, but then I remember that the “to do list” isn’t all that important. Not as important as a walk with Noah is anyway!

Any excuse to go hunting for pretty leaves with the children!

Beautiful pictures. We love our walks too, the to do list can wait :)

The view down your street is just breath taking! I know what you mean about the to do list. I feel like the top note on every to do list should be have you played/ walked with your kids today?

Oh, I am going to add that actually!! Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up. You should have seen the view a few weeks ago when the leaves were at peak!!!!

What a beautiful street you live on! This is a nice reminder to get outside and let the other chores wait for a bit. I'll put that into practice tomorrow.
